About WAQHA

The WAQHA was initially formed in 1972, the association has been incorporated since 1983.
Our group of dedicated club members and volunteers aim to promote, foster, and encourage the development of the versatile Australian Quarter Horse in Western Australia by presenting events for club members and competitors.
​
We are affiliated with the Australian Quarter Horse Association.
WAQHA MISSION STATEMENT DEVELOPED FROM AQHA:

To provide beneficial services to our Members, to embrace and encourage Australian Quarter Horse ownership and participation in WAQHA activities.

To generate growth of WAQHA membership via the marketing, promotion, advertising and the publicity of the Australian Quarter Horse and WAQHA.
