Friday – Horsemanship, Pleasure, Ranch, Reining, Western Riding & Trail.

Saturday – Halter Feature, QH Halter, In-Hand and Western Pleasure Feature. Saturday Night – Dinner & Games

Sunday – Hunt Seat Eq, Hunter Under Saddle, Hunter Hack (over fences) & High Points

WAQHA Western Dressage

WAQHA Western Dressage - ENTRIES ON NOMINATE

Judge: Roxanne Balchin (WDA-AUS Approved)

Entries close 14/11/19 via nominate

Competition classes – WDA Tests (available on the WDA website)

  • Introductory Level, Test B

  • Introductory Level, Test C

  • Basic Level, Test B

  • Basic Level, Test C
    This event is open to all breeds. 
    WDA-AUS have granted WAQHA permission to use the above tests. If we receive less than 15 entries, the association may not run this event. Note that WDA WA will be running an event the next weekend.

  • Entry Fee: $30 per test.

  • Facility Fee: $5 per horse

  • Non-EWA Member Ground Fee: $15 per horse.

  • Non WAQHA Member Insurance Levy: $15 per horse.
    *If member please provide membership cards to avoid fees.

  • Refunds in way of show credit, will not be given for scratching unless a doctors or vet certificate is provided.

  • Prizes: Champion & Reserve Champion will be awarded to the highest average percentage across the two tests at each level (same horse and rider combination). Placings to 5th place.
    Youth riders are automatically eligible for placings in each class entered and separately with other Youth competitors in that class.

  • Conditions of entry:
    This unsanctioned event will be conducted under the Western Dressage Association of Australia Inc. (WDA-AUS) rules and regulations.

  • Maximum of 4 tests per horse and 2 consecutive levels per horse allowed e.g. Intro/Basic.

  • Horses may be ridden by more then 1 rider. Riders may ride more than 1 horse.

  • The arena will open and available 30 mins. Before the start of the event, for pen practice.

  • Draws & Times will be available a week before the event.
