The WAQHA
usually run a combination of six A or AA Shows each year:
- Champagne
and Roses
- Spring
Show
- Quarterama
- Blue
Ribbon Futurity Show
- Quarterhorse
Spectacular
- State
Championships
The Blue Ribbon
and Spectacular are "Futurity Shows", held in the Autumn and
the State Championships are held in the late Spring. |

A or AA Shows
are approved by the AQHA and must adhere to the approval guidelines.
These shows must be judged by an approved or associate AQHA Judge.
At present there are three AQHA approved judges residing in WA,
Tania Broad, Karen Niccoletto and Dawn Marshall. B class shows are
shows that are not approved by the AQHA and are judged by non approved
judges. Results from B class shows must be sent to the points collator
(currently Paula Di candilo), with a copy of the show program,
within 30 days of the show. If no program is sent, points will
not be counted.

Points
scale used is as per the AQHA Rule Book, Page 42 (blue
section):
B
points = single value as per scale
A points = double value as per scale
AA points = 4x value as per scale
