REMINDER – WAQHA AGM & Trophy Night rsvp’s and payments are due by 9th September. 

Please note and refer to below as there has been a slight change to the times

 

The AGM and Trophy Night is being held at Burswood on 9 October 2010.  The tickets for the event are $98 per person ($85 for kids) and for this the following is provided in a private function room:

 · Buffet Food

· Drinks (Beer, Wine, Soft drinks)

· Music

 The schedule for the evening is as follows:

7.30 – PRE DINNER DRINKS

7.45 – MOVE INTO THE BOTANICAL ROOM FOR THE A.G.M. (once AGM is over, non paying guests will be required to leave the event)

8.00 – DINNER

9.00 – TROPHY PRESENTATIONS.

THEN; HIT THE DANCEFLOOR & HAVE SOME FUN & GAMES

It has been bought to the committee’s attention that there are some members who are only interested in attending the AGM only and not pay for the dinner & drinks. The committee has approached Burswood Entertainment with this and the following is what they have been advised:

"The event is a closed function and for those who are only wishing to attend the evenings formalities they will be able to enter the room at 7.45pm and will be seated in an area at the back of the room.  Once the formalities (AGM) are over they will be required to leave"

Additional to this the following limitations apply to non paying guests:

·       There is no food, there is no open bar where drinks can be purchased and as this is a licensed facility, alcohol can't be bought into the venue

·       Those who are only attending the formalities aren't permitted to sit at the tables with paid guests (wristbands will be used to distinguish guests)

 

Please note that these conditions are imposed by Burswood Entertainment and the committee would like to see a great turnout for what should be a great event, just like all the events and functions that they have in our industry “over east” and of course to support the WAQHA, “your club”
